Police are looking for two suspects who are wanted for a shooting that sent a male to the hospital overnight in Jersey City.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the vicinity of Johnston Avenue and Grant Street shortly before 1 a.m. where a brief canvas of the scene had officers locate a male victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated the victim's gunshot injury to the buttocks.
Two black males were observed fleeing the scene shortly before police arrived according to reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
