A horrifying attack on several women conducted by a male inside a hallway of a residential building in Newark has police on a desperate search for the suspect responsible for the incident.
According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, The Newark Police Department's Special Victim’s Unit is attempting to identify and locate the suspect who violently assaulted three women inside the building.
Director Ambrose said his officers have developed information that the suspect frequents the area of 15th Avenue and South 18th Street in Newark.
The video shows the man brutally striking the women several times before walking away from the scene. One of the women suffered a concussion after the suspect punched her in the face causing her to fall to the floor.
Director Ambrose said while detectives are actively searching for this suspect, he seeks the public’s assistance in quickly locating and identifying him.
