Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday, February 21.
According to police, shortly after 10:30 p.m., in the 100 block of Elm Street, the victim was transported to the hospital where he remains in critical condition after he was robbed then stabbed when the suspect took his cell phone and money.
Police said the suspect was observed fleeing the area and is described as 5'7" to 5’10” with a beard wearing a “FILA” jacket.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.
