Paterson Police are looking for a suspect wanted for an armed robbery that left the victim injured in the city overnight.
The incident was reported in the area of Straight Street and Park Avenue just before 2 a.m. sending police to the scene to investigate.
Upon officer's arrival, they found the victim bleeding from an apparent stab wound at that location.
According to a preliminary investigation, a male suspect approached the victim armed with a knife and demanded cash and personal possessions before going on the attack.
The suspect took the victim's watch and cash before he ran from the scene reports said.
Police are looking for a black male suspect who was last seen wearing dark clothing.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening.
