One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $729,928 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday, Feb. 12 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 07, 34, 37, 39 and 40 and the XTRA number was: 02. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Princeton Health Food Inc., 1225 Route 206, Princeton in Mercer County.
Acting Executive Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Princeton Health Food Inc. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
White announced that there were 673,654 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 81 ticketholders won $645 each and 22 others won $1,290 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 3,872 ticketholders won $16 each and 549 others won $32 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly 6,410 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
