A woman found stabbed multiple times at a residence in Newark has police searching for the suspect responsible for the attack.
The incident happened in the 60's block of Martin Luther King Boulevard, just before 4 a.m., where several 911 calls informed police of a domestic dispute in progress at that location.
Units arriving at the scene found the woman bleeding profusely after being stabbed multiple times in the back, chest, and legs according to preliminary reports.
EMS rushed the woman to University Hospital suffering severe injuries.
Police are looking for a male suspect responsible for the stabbing. There was a child home during the time of the incident who ran to get help for the injured woman.
