Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is seeking the public’s help in locating Calvin Jones, 22, of Newark who was reported missing yesterday.
According to police, Jones was last seen at 7 a.m. in the area of 8th Avenue and Spring Street.
Police said Calvin was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black coat, black jeans and sneakers.
While police are actively searching for Jones, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and ensuring his safety.
Director Ambrose is urging anyone with information about Calvin Jones’ whereabouts to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
