Authorities in Beverly are investigating a shooting that had a woman injured overnight in the city.
Police were called to the 200 block o Warren Street just before 1 a.m. to investigate reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder according to reports.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where her injuries were not immediately reported as life-threatening.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
