EMS transported a man to Jersey City Medical Center suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm after a gunman opened fire on his in a neighborhood in the city.
Police found the man near the intersection of Van Nostrand and Rutgers avenues at around 11:31 a.m.
Officers taped off the area and began searching for shell casings and other evidence according to reports.
A gray Audi A4 was observed speeding away from the scene.
