Fire officials in Paterson are investigating a house that tore through a house this morning.
According to fire officials, at around 11:35 a.m., Paterson firefighters responded to 571 E. 25th St for a fire in a large 3-story home on the corner of 12th Ave.
Crews encountered heavy fire conditions and were forced out of the building after attempting to fight the fire from the interior.
Officials transmitted a 3-alarm ultimately prompting firefighters to use one ladder pipe, a tower ladder, one deck gun, and numerous handlines to extinguish the fierce blaze.
The roof of the house eventually caved to when the attic and the top floor of the structure suffered severe damage.
There were no injuries reported.
The fire was placed under control at 1:21 p.m. hours.
