The superintendent of an Elizabeth apartment building was transported to an area hospital after experiencing shortness of breath following an afternoon fire.
According to reports, firefighters responded to a three-story apartment building on the 200 block of Grove Street for a report of a two-alarm fire.
Upon arrival, crews encountered flames coming from the top floor of the apartment building.
Officials said the fire was confined to a wall in the bathroom.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
