The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred in the city early Tuesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:16 a.m. on Jan. 16th, Trenton police responded to the 1100 block of West State Street after the Shot Spotter system detected multiple gunshots.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim in the side rear parking area of 1115 West State Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, later identified as 46-year-old Terrence McKinney of Trenton - was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
