The driver of a stolen NJ Transit police SUV is in custody after he crashing the vehicle into the Hoboken Terminal this morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the Hoboken Terminal, located at 1 Hudson Place, sometime around 8 a.m. for a report of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found the SUV halfway inside the waiting room doors of the terminal.
The entry sustained damaged as a result of the impact but there were no injuries reported.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene and charges are pending.
NJ Transit police will handle the investigation.
