Gunfire rang out in the 40's block of Smith Street striking a man in the foot overnight.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area around midnight where they found the injured man struck by gunfire. The victim was taken to University Hospital where he was expected to make a full recovery.
A motive for the shooting is under investigation by Irvington Police.
The shooter is still at-large.
