There is low to no running water pressure for residents in Bayonne as utility crews are on the scene attempting to cap a water main break in the city.
Crews were called to the vicinity of West 55th Street and Broadway at around 1:30 a.m. after a main ruptured at that location.
The break caused hundreds of gallons of water to flood the section of Bayonne that's near the Jersey City line according to officials.
City officials have requested several water tanker trucks into the city to alleviate some of the need for water.
Crews are hoping to have the break repaired and water restored to residents sometime this morning.
