Authorities announced that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Idriece S. Rawls, 25, of East Orange, in connection with a robbery that occurred in Newark.
According to police, on Oct. 11th, at approximately 5 p.m., three men were robbed by two armed males who exited a black Honda Accord in the area of Taylor Street and Summer Avenue.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Idriece S. Rawls as a suspect in this incident and secured a warrant for his arrest on charges of Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
Police added that his accomplice, Sharik Canty, 23, of Newark, was taken into custody on November 19th.
