Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Acting Barrington Police Chief Dave Uron reported a resident was arrested and charged Friday with Distribution of Explicit Images of Minors.
According to authorities, police charged Donald Baldi, 41, of Barrington, with second degree Distribution of Explicit Images of Minors and third degree Possession of Explicit Images of Minors.
Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant for Baldi’s residence on Albany Avenue in Barrington that morning. An onsite preview of digital media devices that were found during that search resulted in the above charges.
Detectives located numerous digital devices which were seized from the home and sent to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic lab to be analyzed.
Police arrested Baldi, a Navy contractor with Top Secret Clearance, at his residence without incident. Authorities transported him to Runnemede Police Department where he was processed, then transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing.
The court released Baldi with conditions under recent Criminal Justice Reform rules.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives were assisted on this case by members of Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Division, the Gloucester City Police Department, the Barrington Police Department and the Tactical Team consisting of officers from Brooklawn, Mount Ephraim, Runnemede, Bellmawr, Barrington, Audubon, Haddon Heights and Magnolia Townships.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
