A car reported stolen from a neighborhood in Newark's North Ward had police on alert.
According to reports, the vehicle was taken from in front of a house in the 200 block of Sylvan Avenue at around noon.
Police are looking for a black 2005 Mercedes ML500 with a reported NJ license plate number "E38-HFL."
