A report of an armed student has been deemed not credible following a lockdown at Union High School Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, earlier today police received information that a student was possibly armed with a handgun sometime around 1:30 p.m.
The school was placed on ‘lockdown’ (shelter in place mode) school officials said.
A subsequent search resulted in no weapon found and the original information was deemed "not credible."
The lockdown was lifted at approximately 2:20 p.m.
