Police are currently investigating an early morning armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Roselle Park.
According to police, this morning at approximately, 3:47 a.m., officers responded to 7-Eleven, located at 573 W. Westfield Avenue, for a report of an armed robbery.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a tall, thin male entered the store, brandished and pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the two store clerks and demanded all the money from the register.
The suspect then fled on foot with the undisclosed amount of money toward a nearby street. A four-door white sedan was observed traveling northbound on Valley Road following the robbery.
There were no injuries reported.
