Authorities are looking for vehicle stolen out of Scotch Plains that is believed to have been involved in an armed robbery Monday evening.
According to police, on November 27th, at approximately 10:15 p.m., a victim in the area of Nichols Street near Jefferson Street was robbed by a Hispanic man who approached him after exiting a vehicle, displaying a gun and demanding his money.
The suspect then fled towards Adams Street in a reportedly stolen vehicle.
The suspect is described as dark-skinned, about 35 years old, 5’7” and 170 lbs.
While police are actively searching for the suspect and vehicle, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and removing him from the streets.
The investigation into the robbery is continuing.
