Newark Police seeks the public’s help in locating a tractor and trailer that was reported stolen in the city on November 25th.
According to police, the tractor and the trailer were last observed by the driver when it was parked in the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue on November 22nd.
Police said the driver discovered the vehicle missing on November 25th.
According to the owner, a blue container was attached to the tractor that contained refrigerators when he reported it missing.
The photos are of the actual vehicle but as of the posting of this article, the victim is unable to provide the license plate number to the trailer.
Police said the tractor is a 2004 Mac Truck with a NJ license plate number AU1-58A
The trailer has the identifying combination of letters and numbers XYZZ2040282.
The license plate on the trailer is unknown.
Newark authorities ask that any police agency with information is asked to contact them.
While police are actively searching for the tractor, trailer, container, and suspect(s), they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating them.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
