A vehicle lost control and plowed into a Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Vernon this afternoon.
According to police, shortly after 1:30 p.m. today a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old man crashed through the front of the Vernon Rite-Aid store.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of the vehicle claims his foot slipped off the brake and ended up on the gas pedal.
There were no reports of injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
