Police are on the scene of a shooting with a man struck by gunfire in a neighborhood in Jersey City at this time.
Reports of shots fired that rangout in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Drive sent police to the scene at around 6:30 p.m. where they arrived to find the victim struck multiple times.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.
Bullets also penetrated a store at that location.
There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
No arrests have been made.
