Atlantic City man is dead after he was shot Thursday evening, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Police responded to the area of Anchorage Court for a report of a man suffering from gunshot wounds at approximately 8:47 p.m.
The man who was shot was identified as Jasper Bell, 32, who resided on Anchorage Court.
According to police, Bell died in route to the hospital.
An autopsy determined Bell died of a gunshot wound to the chest and the manner of death is homicide.
