Authorities ID 15-Year-Old Passenger of Stolen Car Killed in Burlington County Crash

Cinnaminson Township

Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced today that the passenger who was killed yesterday morning in a collision on Route 130 in Cinnaminson has been identified as a 15-year-old Palmyra High School student.

According to police, Kassidy Bush was pronounced dead at the scene after the car in which she was riding crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer near the intersection with Riverton Road.

The juvenile driver was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he is listed in critical but stable condition. Police added that the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the rear of the tractor-trailer. The car had been previously reported as stolen out of Cinnaminson. Cinnaminson police had attempted to execute a traffic stop on the vehicle moments earlier, but the driver accelerated instead of pulling over.

The investigation by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office is ongoing.

No charges have been filed at this point against the driver, whose name is being withheld because he is a juvenile.

Counselors are on site today at Palmyra High School to assist students and members of the staff.
