An armed carjacking that occurred in a Newark neighborhood this evening has police searching for suspects.
Police were called to the 500 block of 4th Street to take a report of a carjacking that occurred at that location.
Authorities said two black male suspects approached the victim at gunpoint and took a white 4-door 2013 Ford Fusion shortly before 7:30 p.m.
The vehicle has reported Pennsylvania license plate numbe "JZK-3170".
Police said the suspect fled eastbound on Bloomfield Avenue after taking the vehicle.'
There were no physical injuries reported.
