Authorities announced the arrests of 20-year-olds Arham Mustafa and Arsal Mustafa, both of Little Ferry, on charges of Sexual Assault and Criminal Sexual Contact.
According to authorities, on October 30th, the Little Ferry Police Department and Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office received information from a 17-year-old female who alleged that Arham and Arsal inappropriately touched her in Little Ferry. As a result of the information received, members of the Little Ferry Police Department and Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit initiated an investigation.
As a result of the investigation, Arham and Arsal were arrested on Friday in Paramus. Police charged Arham with two counts of Sexual Assault and one count of Criminal Sexual Contact and Arsal with one count of Criminal Sexual Contact.
Following their first appearance on November 4th, Arham and Arsal were ordered to be held at the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing scheduled for November 8th.
These charges are merely accusations, the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
