A pedestrian struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in Roselle Park this evening has detective on the scene investigating.
The incident happened on East Westfield Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. where police arrived at the scene to find an unconscious victim suffering serious injuries at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital in Newark for treatment.
Investigators closed off a portion of Westfield Avenue to establish a crime scene.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
