Somerville Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital this afternoon.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the area of Third and Center streets shortly before 4:15 p.m. where officers arrived at the scene and found the victim shot.
EMS rushed the victim to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
A white 4-door Sedan was observed speeding away from the scene.
Police have not arrested a suspect at this time.
