Lakewood Township are investigating several fires that ignited vehicles near building owned by the Lakewood Housing Authority.
Firefighters were called to the vicinity of 220 East 4th Street (John J. Currey Building) for a car fire before 4:15 a.m. where they arrived and noticed about four vehicles heavily involved in flames.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire in less than a half hour swiftly.
The Ocean County Sheriff's Department and Prosecutor's Office were notified, but there were no immediate reports of serious injuries.
