A suspicious fire that ignited inside a motel room in Bayonne has fire officials investigating.
One person was transported to an area hospital after fire broke out inside room 110 at the Hudson Plaza Motel causing non-life threatening injuries to the victim.
Firefighters arrived at the scene before 3 a.m. and were able to bring the blaze under control in under an hour.
A firefighter suffered a minor injury according to reports.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
