The State Regional Medical Examiner's office will determine the cause of death for a man found dead at a train station in Elizabeth.
According to authorities, police were called to the Broad Street side of the train station after received a report of an injured person.
Upon arrival, crews found an unconscious and unresponsive 27-year-old man who they pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said that they are awaiting the medical examiner's results, but it does not appear that the cause is suspicious nor do they believe that a train struck the man.
New Jersey Transit Police will handle the investigation.
