Parents of Elizabeth students were informed of an attempted luring that occurred last week after a letter began to circulate on social media.
According to parents, a letter found on the districts webpage (not on their Facebook page) did not make it to their homes and they only came across the letter when it began circulating on social media.
According to the letter, on September 15th near the area of Winfield Scott School #2, an Elizabeth student was the target of an attempted luring.
The letter confirmed police were contacted and all team members of School #2 were notified.
