Authorities have launched an investigation into a stabbing that left one person injured in Passaic overnight.
Police were called to the 100 block of 3rd Street before 3:15 a.m. after receiving reports of an injured person.
Officers arriving at the scene requested EMS for the victim suffering a non-life threatening stab injury at that location.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where they were expected to survive.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
