Residents rushed to the aid of a woman whose vehicle crashed then overturned overnight in a Newark West Ward neighborhood.
The incident happened before 12:30 a.m. in the 20's block of Norman Road where residents were forced out of their homes by a loud crashing noise.
According to reports, emergency rescue crews arrived at the scene to find the woman out of the vehicle with residents assisting in non-life threatening injuries.
The Newark Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
There were no other injuries reported.
