The Newark West Side High School football team visited the historic St. James Church located on Martin Luther King Boulevard in a session where the young men prayed together this morning.
Under the leadership of experienced championship winning coach Mr. Marion Bell, the team begins the practice week sessions with their eyes geared towards competing against East Side High School on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
The Roughriders defeated Belleville in week one by a score of 28-13 but came just short in Friday's loss against Caldwell 15-6.
