Police took two people into custody after a shooting incident had officers in a Jersey City neighborhood last night.
Officers responded to shots fire that erupted on Winfield Avenue before 8:50 p.m. where they arrived to find a vehicle with a window shot out at that location.
During officers arrival to the scene, they reportedly observed two suspects running from the scene.
Police apprehended the suspects in the area Garfield and Cantor avenues where they recovered a rifle according to reports.
There were no injuries reported.
The shooting remains under investigation.
