Crews rescued six people on Monday after a boat capsized off the coast of Sandy Hook.
According to preliminary police, at around 1:30 p.m. Monday, a distress call came into headquarters that a boat was taking on water and capsizing with six people on board was transmitted.
Upon arrival, the Coast Guard rescued three of six passengers of a 22-foot Pleasurecraft boat.
The other three were rescued by a good Samaritan who also heard the distress call.
According to officials, no one was injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
