Authorities in Trenton are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital in the city overnight.
Police responding to reports of shots fired in the area of Pennington Avenue and Calhoun Street requested EMS to the on a rush after they located one person struck by gunfire at that location.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where their injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting.
There were no arrests reported.
