EMS transported a juvenile to an area after they found the teen suffering a gunshot wound overnight in the city.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 400 block of Fisher Avenue shortly before midnight where arriving officers found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the leg according to preliminary reports.
The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
Neptune Police have launched an investigation to determine the motive to the shooting.
