Authorities in Jersey City are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed two people on a roadway in the city overnight.
The accident happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the vicinity of NJ-440 and Culver Avenue sending emergency responders to the scene where upon their arrivaL, they observed the fiery crash that involved the motorcycle and a truck with two victims down in the roadway at that location.
Two victims were pronounced dead shortly after the collision.
Police temporarily closed NJ-440 at Communipaw Avenue for the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office investigation.
The identity of the victims have not been released at this time.
