A semi-automatic loaded rifle found in Greenville neighborhood backyard has police investigating.
According to city officials, on August 22nd, a semi automatic, LRB M-15 rifle, was found on Ocean Avenue near the Neptune Avenue intersection sometime around 3 p.m.
Adding that in addition to the 29 rounds loaded on the weapon, police found a high-capacity magazine which exceeds New Jersey magazine limits.
The investigation is active and ongoing. There have been no arrests as of yet.
