The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has identified a man found fatally injured in a motorcycle crash that occurred in Newark.
The early morning accident happened in the 500 block of Elizabeth Avenue in Newark's South Ward where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, police found Mr. Shaun Williams, 39, of Newark unconscious and unresponsive at that location.
EMS transported Mr. Williams to University Hospital where doctor's pronounced him dead a short time later authorities said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
