Pleasantville Man Indicted on Weapon, Drug Charges

Pleasantville man was indicted Tuesday on weapons and drugs charges, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

An Atlantic County Grand Jury indicted Sean Figaro on Tuesday on the following counts:

Unlawful Possession of a Handgun 


Possession of a Firearm while in the Course of Committing a Drug 
Offense 


Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon 


Possession of CDS 


Possession of CDS with the Intent to Distribute 


Possession of Defaced Firearm 


A long-term investigation into prostitution activity conducted by the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force resulted in the execution of a search warrant on January 10, 2017, at the Econo Lodge on Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City where Figaro had been staying from March 2016 through January 2017.

As a result of the search warrant, 119 bags of heroin and a loaded 22 caliber handgun were recovered.

Police arrested Figaro without incident during the execution of the search warrant at the Econo Lodge by agents of the FBI, detectives of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey Department of Human Services Police, and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of Atlantic City Police Department SWAT.

On January 12, 2017, Figaro was charged by the FBI with violations of related Federal laws, and was transferred to FBI custody, and lodged in the Federal Detention Facility, Philadelphia.

The case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant Prosecutor Danielle S. Buckley.
