Officers from the Essex County Sherriff's Department took a male suspect into custody after the vehicle crashed into a building on the Newark-East Orange border this morning.
The crash occurred at around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of 9th Avenue in Steuben Street according to reports.
Crime scene detectives were on the scene to examine if the car and suspect were previously involved in a felony.
There were no injuries reported.
