EMS rushed a man to University Hospital in Newark after the man fell off of a scaffold at a construction site in Irvington this morning.

Emergency responders rushed to the 800 block of Chancellor Avenue after receiving reports of an injured person.
Crews arrived to find the semi-conscious victim laying on the ground after falling about 40ft from the scaffold according to preliminary reports.
There were no reports of a fatality.
This location is the former Irvington General Hospital site transformed to newly constructed apartments.
It has not been determined what caused the man's fall.
The incident is under investigation.
