Newark Police seek the public’s help locating **Mr. Charles T. Terry, 45, of Newark,** who is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on Saturday, August 12th.
Police officials said, approximately 11:30 p.m., a 45-year-old victim reported that he and the suspect were having a verbal argument while at a party on Austin Street.
Police said, as the two argued, the suspect produced a knife and cut the victim’s hand before running from the scene and into a gray Chrysler.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify **Mr. Charles T. Terry** as the suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
Police said Terry is approximately 5’11” in height and 210 lbs.
He has a bald head, brown eyes, and a graying goatee.
The investigation is continuing.
