Jersey City Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in the city overnight.
Police were called to the 90's block of Mercer Street to take a report of a robbery before 12:30 a.m.
Officers arrived to find the victim who made a report to police that shortly before their arrival, a male suspect approached and demanded personal possessions.
EMS treated the victim for minor injuries caused by the suspect.
Officers searched the area but there were no arrests reported.
