Police in Paterson are investigating two armed robberies that occurred at gas stations in the city.
Police have not confirmed any arrests in the incidents that had armed men arrive at the gas stations and demand cash and other items.
The first robbery occurred at the BP Gas Station located in the 700 block of Market Street shortly before 1 am where several suspects held up the station then fled in a silver colored vehicle.
Police reportedly found the vehicle that was occupied by the suspects and immediately detained them.
In another incident, armed men held up the Exxon gas station that's located in the 700 block of 20th Avenue at around 2 am.
The suspects were only described as two black males armed with a weapon.
There were no physical injuries reported in either armed robbery.
